I had been having a weird problem with my car since it was repaired when I first got it. Whenever it went into boost it would completely shut down at full boost. I noticed today whenever I would press the throttle I would hear a loud hissing noise right around the boost hoses on the drivers side. Initially i thought my hoses were leaking. Long story short it was a vacuum hose. Not a leaking vacuum hose. It was a hose connected to the nipple below the throttle body. Once i disconnected it. The car stopped making the hissing noise on acceleration. I capped off both sides of the hoses. The hose was connected to a metal line from the other side of the car by the radiator. I noticed that the other nipple on the passenger side was already capped off. Why would this cause any issue with the car? Now that the hose has been disconnected the car runs awesome!
